Local solar kiln dried pine.  Reclaimed clear cedar.  Giant vintage sink.  Salvaged windows.  Mismatched leftover siding.  From design to still-in-process build, this project has been shaped by its materials.  Our objective:  a low impact dwelling, financially and ecologically.  Wherever possible we relied on what we could salvage, source locally, or buy second-hand.  The interior finishes are natural, non-toxic milk paints and tung oil.  It has been quite an adventure so far!  Check back often for updates, or contact us to pay a visit!
